Dr650 3rd gear whine

Hi, I've posted this question before, but am hoping to reach a person who has experienced the third gear whine in the DR650. I first noticed the whine at about 1000 miles and now have 2600 on the odo. The noise isn't getting louder and there is no irregularity to it (as in chipped teeth or the like). It only whines under load.
