WebThere are literally tens of thousands of ways to serve your country that don't directly involve military service. Tons that don't even indirectly involve military service. Or, you can work for a military supplier or contractor. Totally depends on what you're after. WebIf you dedicate the time and effort to help your local community, you are serving your country from the ground up. There are of course opportunities for doing work at the federal level without leaving the country. Personally, I have my eyes on the National Park Service, but there are a wide range of other options out there.
